Vodafone to pay over $2-bn for 2nd licence in Qata

In a statement issued from Doha, The Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology, Qatar's telecom regulator, has said that Vodafone/Qatar Foundation Consortium will pay a fee of 7.716 billion Qatar rials (about $2.1 billion) for the second mobile licence in the country.

Hayden fastest in official MotoGP test

Honda's former world champion Nicky Hayden set the pace on the final day of MotoGP's official pre-season test at the Jerez circuit in southern Spain on Monday. The American, who lost his crown to Ducati's Australian Casey Stoner last season, clocked the fastest time of the test with a lap of one minute 38.848 seconds at the end of the afternoon.
