The first Nokia Windows phones have finally arrived, as expected at Nokia World -- the Lumia 800 and 710, fresh with Mango (WP 7.5) onboard. The devices, sharing similar specs, are expected to hit stores in Europe starting November, followed by India, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan before the end of the year.
Taking the fight to rivals manufacturing high-end mobile devices, the world's largest handset-maker, Nokia, on Tuesday unveiled three new smartphones in an attempt to increase its market share.
Priced at about Rs 31,000 (450 euros), the N97 Mini features a tilting 3.2" touch display, QWERTY keyboard and fully customisable homescreen.
Nokia, world's largest mobile handset manufacturer, witnessed a 4.8 per cent decline in its global market share to 29.3 per cent during the first quarter of 2004 mainly due to the absence of mid-range phones, according to IDC.
