A Noida court on Wednesday extended the police remand of the two Nithari serial killing accused -- Mohinder Singh Pandher and his servant Surendra Koli -- by two days.
"All health parameters of the patient are normal and so he has been discharged," doctors attending to Pandher at the Gandhinagar Civil Hospital said.
Giving this information, ruling Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh told reporters that Rajiv Sabharwal, SSP Kumbh Mela, will replace Rathore.
Scouring a roadside drain near Pandher's D-5, Sector 31 bungalow, the CBI investigators recovered many body parts, including portions of legs.
The CBI and the forensic team are likely to visit the scene of crime on Thursday, the sources added.
What exactly are these tests and how do they help investigators? And more importantly are the results of these tests admissible in court?
The two accused in serial killings of children in Noida's Nithari village underwent brain mapping and polygraph tests at the Directorate of Forensic Sciences in Gandhinagar on Saturday.
A special CBI court in Ghaziabad on Thursday chargesheeted the prime accused in Nithari serial killings case, Mohinder Singh Pandher for the rape and murder of two teenagers.
According to the chargesheet filed in the court of Special Judge Sapna Mishra in Ghaziabad, the CBI said Koli had lured nine-year-old Rachna Lal while she was on her way to play on April 10, 2006.
Additional District Judge Rama Jain rejected the plea against CBI on the ground that Pandher was away in Chandigarh from his house in Noida when the alleged kidnapping, rape and murder of Payal took place.
The order was passed by Special CBI Judge Rama Jain in connection with kidnapping and murder of a 21-year-old woman following an application by the victim's father questioning the move of the CBI in not charging Pandher with murder.
The number of children whose remains were being found could go up, as police found some more skeletal remains as they began excavating a drain in front of the house.
The suspected serial killer Surender alias Satish, a domestic help, has been arrested along with his master Mohinder Singh Pandher, a factory owner from whose house the skeletons were found in gunny bags.
The eighth chargesheet for the kidnap, rape and murder of Deepali was filed by the agency in the court of Special CBI Magistrate Sapna Mishra.
Nand Lal narrated the sequence of events from the day (May 6) when Payal got a call from Satish for a job for her brother.
