The hero of India's triumph in the hockey final at the Tokyo Olympics had settled in Spain after retiring from the Railways.

The gun allegedly used by Bhardwaj to kill Singh originally belonged to Additional SP, Hisar, Ashok Sohran, Gurgaon Commissioner of Police Mohinder Lal told media persons in Gurgaon. Sohran has claimed that he had lost the weapon during a police operation.
