The biggest mystery in Karnataka politics now seems to be the one regarding senior leader M P Prakash who fell out with the Janata Dal (S) recently.
H D Deve Gowda and his sons did everything in the book to prevent Prakash from leaving the party. However, their attempts were unsuccessful and Prakash stuck to his guns.

JD-S to decide on action against Kumaraswamy and supporters
Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday said the government would soon take a decision on the action to be taken on the communal clashes that claimed two lives in the coastal belt of the state last week.
He was accompanied by senior leaders.
Interestingly, so far Deve Gowda's JD-S is not the target of the attack by the BJP. Come mid-May, he hopes he will once again play the role he has played before.
