The Madras high court on Monday quashed a non-bailable arrest warrant against Union Minister M K Alagiri's son Durai Dayanidhi and granted him anticipatory bail in the alleged multi-crore illegal granite quarrying scam.
A division bench headed by acting Chief Jusitce Vijender Jain, however, asked the Centre to file an affidavit on the implementation within two weeks and posted the matter for hearing to July 19.\n
