Global computer hardware major Intel has announced the deployment of Intel Insider, a new hardware feature of the 2nd Generational Intel Core processors that will allow Indian consumers to purchase and rent the latest high definition (HD) movies on their personal computers.
The device will be available from April 23 for Rs 22,000, said a company statement.
The Intel Inside logo, which consumers have always seen on laptops and PCs, will now be seen on smartphones, too. In April, mobile vendor Lava International will launch its first smartphone in India based on the Intel processors, expected to be priced around Rs 25,000.
Intel Corp, whose brand presence has been the inspiration of many, is dropping its 37-year-old logo created by the chip giant's founders Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore.
