United States needs to successfully manage its relationship with emerging powers like India and China, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said and insisted that the Obama administration's shift of military, diplomatic and commercial assets to Asia is not to "contain" Beijing.
The rise of India and China does not mean that the US, which is currently experiencing a 'tectonic' shift in its economy, is entering an era of decline, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said. Globalisation is creating unprecedented opportunities, but we Americans still do not feel that they are sharing in them," Rice said at a Women's Foreign Policy Group Annual Luncheon.
The only real issue left was whether Saddam had decided to give up these horrible weapons of mass destruction, he said.
