Q. Tata's Nano Car project is in the interest of the nation. Its also in d interest of the ppl of Singur, including farmers, whose lands have been acquired. As in the case of the Metro project (and several other projects that are in the insterest of d state or the country),land, shops, and houses are taken over by the Govt after a suitable compensation is paid. Singur is no exception. It is our petty minded and selfish politicians who are actually a hurdle in the economic progress of the country. Your views please????
