"Today, I am quiet because the attorney general has sought a very short time, next time I will not be quiet. Use your good office to see these issues are resolved," Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul told Attorney General R Venkataramani. "I thought of saying a lot, but since the attorney general is only seeking seven days time, I'm holding myself," said Justice Kaul, whose bench also comprised Sudhanshu Dhulia, after Venkataramani sought a week's time to come back with instructions on the pending recommendations for judges' appointment to the high court.
The apex court said people value their privacy more than the value of the company which might be in trillions.

Refuting the contention of Roy who had submitted that he cannot be penalised for non-refund of the money by Sahara India Real Estate Corp Ltd and Sahara India Housing Investment Corp Ltd, the market regulator said that the business tycoon held 70 per cent stake in the companies and liable for contempt of court punishable upto to six months imprisonment or fine.

A bench headed by Justice T S Thakur asked Delhi government to issue notification by August 4 for converting the conference room into jail which can be used by Roy and two jailed directors of Sahara for 10 working days from 06:00 AM to 08:00 PM for holding negotiations with prospective buyers of hotels in New York and London.
The permission came after the court was satisfied that the transactions were in accordance with its June 4 order.
