Henry Frayne of Australia shows his ability to triple jump the length of more than two Formula 1 cars at Albert Park, in Melbourne.

Aiming to qualify for a rare Olympic long jump and triple jump double, Frayne goes into the selection trials in Melbourne, aiming to become the first Australian since 1964 to compete in both events at an Olympics.

The triple jump specialist shocked himself when he leapt into contention in the hotly competitive long jump a fortnight ago with a qualifying distance of 8.27m, the longest jump in the world this year.

Italy's Valentino Rossi of the Ducati Marlboro Team lifts the front wheel during the second day of MotoGP testing at the Sepang Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The seven-time MotoGP champion, entering his second season with Ducati, couldn't hide his disappointment at once again losing a large amount of vital test time to bad weather.

Rain interrupted testing on both days of the second Sepang test, with just two hours of dry running on Wednesday.

Andy McKay of New Zealand bowls as South Africa's Hashim Amla watches during the second ODI in Napier.

Amla missed out on a 10th century, but still guided South Africa to a comfortable six-wicket victory, sealing the series with a game to spare.

The visitors took the first match in Wellington by six wickets and have now won their last four games in New Zealand, having also taken the final two Twenty20 matches to clinch that series.

Amla anchored the innings with 92 before he nicked a delivery from leg spinner Tarun Nethula to Brendon McCullum with the victory target of 231 well in sight.
