"I am happy today because boys have played very well in the block and attack. Pradeep performed well. Subhe Singh and Sanjay combined well and Kapil Dev was outstanding in the set-up," he said.

The Indians also walked away with a majority of individual honours. While K J Kapil Dev received the Best Setter of the series award, the Best Attacker was won by P S Srikanth.

Best Blocker went to Pradeep and the Best Libro award went to Pakistan's Ishfaq Hussain. All these players received Rs 12,500.

Pakistan captain Muhammad Zaman felt the height Indians' height worked to their advantage.

"Indian team's main advantage was height. Their average height is higher than ours. Their striker disturbed us throughout the series. We hope to rectify our weaknesses and play well in future," he said.
