Tennis sensation Eugenie Bouchard, Dimitrov make a splash in Acapulco

The two rising tennis stars Eugenie Bouchard and Grigor Dimitrov experienced the best of Acapulco. The youngsters took a break from training to play an exhibition game on a floating court.

The highly-rated young duo took a helicopter ride over Acapulco, where the event is based, before battling it out in the heat off the Mexican coast.

The stunt was organised by Abierto Mexicano in an effort to promote the tournament.

The stars took in the view from high above on a helicopter ride, before boarding a yacht for a hit on a mini tennis court platform on the Acapulco Bay.

Once the game was over, Bulgaria's Dimitrov, better know as Maria Sharapova’s boyfriend, jumped into the sea with 20-year-old Canadian Bouchard.

Dimitrov, 22, edged out South Africa's Kevin Anderson 7-6 (7-1), 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) to claim his second career title with victory in the Acapulco International final on Sunday.
