Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Max Mirnyi [ Images ] advanced to the semi-finals while Rohan Bopanna [ Images ] and Aisam-ul-haq Qureshi [ Images ] sealed a quarter-final berth in the Valencia Open.

Third seeds Bhupathi and Mirnyi beat Czech Frantisek Cermak and Slovakia's Michal Mertinak 6-3, 6-7(6), 10-6 in the quarter-finals.

Fourth seeds Bopanna and Qureshi recorded a 7-6(6), 4-6, 14-12 win over Pablo Cuevas Uruguay and Argentine Juan Monaco in the opening round of the euro 1,357,000 hard court event.

Bhupathi and Mirnyi will next face top seeds Lukasz Kubot [ Images ] of Poland and Oliver Marach [ Images ] of Austria. Bopanna and Qureshi will take on Spaniards Marc Lopez and David Marrero in the second round.
