The overall direction to the industry has been provided by A Raja but he (Scindia) is likely to add to the momentum to the sector, he added.
Sources from his office said that Scindia is likely to join office in a day or two as Minister of State for IT and Communications after the Minister, A Raja comes back to Delhi.
