Pune-based Suzlon Energy Ltd on Friday said its wholly owned subsidiary has bagged an order from China for supply of wind turbines.
In a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange the company said its China-based subsidiary Suzlon Energy (Tianjin) Ltd had secured the order for supplying wind turbines of 50 MW capacity.
The deliveries of the turbines are slated for the financial year 2007-08, the leading wind turbine maker, Suzlon added.
Following this order the company has a consolidated order book position of Rs 6637.87 crore (Rs 66.37 billion), with Rs 5813.71 crore (Rs 58.13 billion) in international orders and Rs 824.16 crore (Rs 8.24 billion) in domestic orders, it said.
