Militants on Tuesday carried out two grenade attacks on security force installations in the city in a span of about five minutes, injuring three Central Reserve Police Force personnel.
A senior police official told rediff.com, "Militants tossed a hand grenade inside a CRPF camp in Budshah Chowk which exploded, injuring three troopers. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment."
Militants also shot at and critically injured a police constable in south Kashmir's Anantnag town late on Tuesday afternoon. The constable was evacuated to Srinagar for treatment.
