The Indian Air Force has had a remarkable and memorable journey since its formation on October 8, 1932. It has since been operating in an environment that is both challenging and demanding and is now a seasoned and battle tested force.

A fly-past by vintage Tiger Moth aircraft was the main attraction at the Air Force Day parade. The 1930s Tiger Moth biplane, the first resurrected aircraft of the vintage squadron of the force, was the only new addition to the flying display team for the event
