Major fire breaks out in Mumbai's Mantralaya



Three people have died and at least 12 people have been injured in the fire that broke out at the Mumbai mantralaya or secretariat, the government's headquarters on Thursday afternoon.

The massive fire began at 2.40 pm on Thursday, when 5000 people were inside. Most managed to get out. Fire-fighters helped free 65people trapped, using cranes, ladders and ropes.

The charred building of Maharashtra government's secretariat raises serious doubts about the basic safety precautions which were totally ignored. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police will be investigating the cause of fire.

Fortunate to be part of Spiderman: Irrfan



Actor Irrfan Khan, will be seen playing the role of Dr Ratha in the Hollywood movie The Amazing Spiderman. Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spiderman features Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Irrfan Khan among others.

The actor feels proud to be part of America's greatest fantasy.

In an event to promote the film in India which is releasing on June 29th, he was candid enough to say that his role was not big in the movie and he did the movie more as an experience.
