On the Sidelines:
* A united Opposition continued its agitation on Wednesday against the suspension of 25 Congress MPs by the Lok Sabha Speaker for 'willfully' disrupting proceedings in Parliament. A number of parties have, meanwhile, requested Mahajan to review her decision.
* Outside Parliament, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu says that while Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is an asset, MP CM Shivraj Chouhan and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje are best performers. While claiming that the Congress was rattled by the Narendra Modi government's success, Naidu said that the government was willing to go extra mile but cannot give in to unreasonable demands.
* Rahul Gandhi says, "Humein bahar rakhne ka faisla kia hai, hum bahar baithe hain, virodh karte rahenge (We have been told to stay out; we are sitting outside and continuing our protest)"
