The mysterious death of a 10-year-old Indian-origin boy, whose body was preserved by his mother inside a bathtub, has taken a horrible turn after a man and woman were found dead in the family's house in Texas.

The body of a man was found inside the Frisco home of the Indian-origin couple, Pallavi and Sumeet Dhawan on Wednesday while a woman was found dead in swimming pool of the house.

The identities of the deceased have not been released, but police said they are not looking for any suspects, the NBC News reported.

Meanwhile, a Facebook post from Pallavi's lawyer indicated that she was one of the victims.

"Pallavi's mom called from India. Hoping to get her back to India. Thanks to all for your prayers. I can't get my head or heart around this." he wrote.

It was not immediately known for how long the bodies had been lying in the house. The relatives of Pallavi, 39, and Sumeet, 43 and a computer programmer, had tried to reach them for several days without success.

Police said they were called to the home regarding a possible drowning case and found a man and a woman dead. The police would not say how the man and woman died, but officers were gathering evidence late into the night.

"The investigation will go on through the night and most likely into tomorrow," Sgt Brad Merritt has said.

The couple's 10-year-old son Arnav was found dead inside a dry bathtub, covered by a cloth and surrounded by plastic bags in the family's home on January 29.

Pallavi, who was charged with murder, told police that she was only trying to preserve the body of her son, who had died four days earlier in his sleep, until Sumeet returned home from a business trip in India.

However, when Sumeet returned home from India, Pallavi did not tell him what happened. He learned of his son's death at the same time police did -- when they broke down the bathroom door and found him inside the tub.

The couple claimed that the boy had died of natural causes and, in their culture, the father must deliver a final blessing.

Pallavi had claimed that her son suffered from microcephaly, which causes an abnormally small head and can lead to a shortened lifespan.

Arnav's autopsy was inconclusive and the medical examiner said he died of undetermined causes, likely of a seizure.

Pallavi was charged for the murder of Arnav. A grand jury had just begun to hear the case, with Sumeet providing testimony last week.
