Three minor girls, including a Dalit, were allegedly raped in separate incidents in different districts of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
Three girls have been raped in Etah, Barabanki and Ghazipur districts since Tuesday, they said.
A 13-year-old girl was raped by four persons in Kotwali area of Etah, police said in Lucknow. The incident occurred in the wee hours today when the four persons entered the girl's house in Bhagipur village and raped her, they said.
The accused -- Vikas, Vishal, Tony and Ranu -- were arrested, the police said.
In a startling incident in Barabanki, an eight-year-old girl was raped by a 10-year-old boy in Haidergarh area. The girl's father alleged that the boy raped his daughter when she had gone out for some work on Tuesday, the police said.
An FIR has been registered against the juvenile accused and attempts were on to take him into custody, they added.
In Ghazipur, a 17-year-old Dalit girl was raped in Baurwan village in Saidpur area by 27-year-old Subhash Yadav. The accused has been arrested, the police said.
