In a shocking incident, a homeless child was thrown out a McDonald’s outlet in Pune.

The incident came to light when Shaheena Attarwala, said on her Facebook page that she saw the child when she was visiting the outlet with a few friends. The child if he could have some of the cold drinks she and her friends were having. Attarwala then decided to buy him a cold drink, and took him inside the outlet.

But as they waited in the queue, a McDonald’s staff came and pushed the child out of the queue. Attarwala interved, but the staff said that ‘such kind’ of people were not allowed inside McDonald’s.

“Can someone explain how being India makes this incident a justified one?” she asked in her post.

McDonalds has said that it has ordered an internal probe. It said in statement, "We wish to affirm that we treasure and respect everyone in equal measure and do not support any form of discrimination."

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that he would get back to the media after he had collected all the information on the incident.
