Which way will Delhi, UP and Rajasthan go if LS polls are held today

In the nationwide CNN-IBN Election Tracker conducted by Centre for the Study of Developing Societies today we look at the northern states -- Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and how has been the performance of the United Progressive Alliance government.

Delhi

• AAP is projected to secure 48 per cent vote share in Delhi, if Lok Sabha polls are held today
• The Bharatiya Janata Party is projected to secure 30 per cent vote share and Congress projected to secure 16 per cent vote share in Delhi
• Seventy-four per cent Delhi respondents say they are satisfied with the work of the AAP government.
• Arvind Kejriwal enjoys huge popularity as Delhi CM with 76 per cent satisfaction levels

• Seventy-three per cent say they are ready give AAP another chance if Delhi assembly has a re-pol
• Kejriwal pips Modi as preferred choice for PM; 34 per cent Delhiites want him for top job
• Thirty-two per cent Delhi respondents say they prefer Narendra Modi as PM; Rahul is third at 8 per cent

Rajasthan

• The Bharatiya Janata Party may secure 54 per cent vote share in Rajasthan if the Lok Sabha elections are held today, while the Congress may secure 33 per cent vote share in Rajasthan
• Twenty-one per cent give credit for Rajasthan assembly win to Modi; only 11 give credit to Vasundhara

• Forty-nine per cent Rajasthan respondents say both Modi and Vasundhara deserve credit for win
• Fifty-four per cent respondents in Rajasthan say the United Progressive Alliance does not deserve another chance at the Centre

Uttar Pradesh

• Eleven per cent rise in vote share for the BJP in UP since 2013; may get 38 per cent votes if LS polls are held today
• The Samajwadi Party loses 5 per cent vote share in UP since 2013; may get only 17 per cent votes
• The Congress vote share remains constant at 16 per cent in UP since 2013; the Bahujan Samaj Party may end with 17 per cent votes
• Nine per cent rise in dissatisfaction levels with the SP government in UP since 2013; 41 per cent are now unhappy
• Forty-eight per cent respondents in Uttar Pradesh say they are satisfied with the SP govt

• Forty per cent respondents in UP say they are unhappy with performance of Akhilesh Yadav as CM
• Fifty-one per cent UP Muslims say state government mishandled Muzaffarnagar riots; 51 per cent blame centre too
• Forty-five per cent respondents across UP say Samajwadi Party should be blamed the most for riots
