Two South Korean nationals were granted bail on Saturday by a local court in a case registered against them for criminal negligence for the fire on board Korean chemical tanker Royal Diamond 7, off the Mumbai harbour.

"The court granted bail to master of the vessel Chung Hyunil and chief engineer Kim Seong Hun," the duo's lawyer Rishi Buta said.

The magistrate granted them bail on personal bonds of Rs 25,000 each.

Six people were injured while one died when the fire broke out following an explosion on board the Korean-owned 9500 DWT chemical tanker Royal Diamond 7 at Mumbai harbour on March 24.
