Bihar’s Jan Adhikar Party supremo Pappu Yadav, an expelled Rashtriya Janata Dal member of Parliament, on Wednesday threatened to forcibly pull out Manipuri passengers from trains running through Bihar and send them back to Manipur in retailitation of violence against Bihari migrants there.

“If Modi does not intervene, my party would have no option but to act against Manipuri in  protest,” he said.

Pappu also targetted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that both  he and Modi were responsible for what is happening in Manipur. “Modi and Nitish should talk to Manipur government immediately to stop violence against Bihari migrants,” he said.

Interestingly, Pappu is known for his closeness to Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah and other top BJP leaders in Bihar and outside ahead of the upcoming state assembly polls.

It was publicly announced by Pappu that he was keen to join the National Democratic Alliance in Bihar to defeat Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal-United and the RJD in the polls

Lalu has also alleged that the BJP is funding Pappu’s campaign against the grand alliance of RJD, JD-U and the Congress for the benefit of the the saffron party in the polls.

Pappu is MP from Madhepura parliamentary constituency and his wife Ranjit Ranjan is a Congress MP from Supaul in Bihar.
