Officer's enclave in memory of NSG commando Unnikrishnan

An officer's enclave in memory of National Security Guard commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan, killed while fighting terrorists in Taj Hotel [ Images ] in the November 2008 Mumbai [ Images ] attacks, was unveiled in the presence of his parents in Bangalore in Friday.

The enclave was inaugurated by Major General K S Venugopal, general officer commanding (Karnataka [ Images ] and Kerala [ Images ] Sub Area), a press release said. The enclave is a tribute to Sandeep, who was honoured with the Ashoka Chakra for his bravery, it said.
