Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday that the influence of the Bahujan Samaj Party was confined only to Uttar Pradesh and, therefore, there was no possibility of its supremo Mayawati becoming the country's prime minister.

Mayawati's ambition to become the PM was not based on ground reality, he told media-persons at his residence in Lucknow.

"The BSP has no influence outside UP. It is insignificant outside the state," said the BJP chief who attended a wedding in the city where he met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief KS Sudershan.

"Everyone has the right to dream but such dreams shall be based on reality," he said. Mayawati was harbouring totally unrealistic ambitions about her becoming the PM, the BJP chief said.

On

the ongoing assembly polls, he said the BJP would romp home in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Delhi.

Singh ruled out the possibility of a Third Front at the Centre saying its likely constituents had started joining the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

The BJP leader, however, refused to comment on reports of Ajit Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal joining the NDA.

He also declined comments on media reports about VHP leader Pravin Togadia's links with Abhinav Bharat, a right-wing group suspected to be involved in Malegaon blasts.

When asked about his meeting with the RSS chief at the wedding, the BJP chief did not comment, saying reports that Sudershan had asked him to pacify senior party leader Kalyan Singh were far from truth.
