Santoor maestro Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and tabla wizard Ustad Zakir Hussain performed together at the Town Hall in New York City on Saturday.
Sharma has performed in many concerts with Hussain in the past.
Sharma is credited with single-handedly making the santoor a popular classical music instrument.
A world-renowned tabla player, Hussain has worked with many western and Indian artists, and has produced many works for fusion.
