Senior Bharatiya Janata Party member and leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj has accused Team Anna for using uncivil language against the parliamentarians.

"They call us murders," she said and asked why they have deviated from their main agenda, and adjectives that were not good in taste.

India Against Corruption key member Arvind Kejriwal had descried the sitting parliamentarians in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha 'murders and rapists' in a rally in Ghaziabad last month.

Sharad Yadav of Janata Dal United wanted to know how dare the members of Team Anna describe the honourable members of both houses of parliament as rapists. "Are we rapists?" he thundered.

Sanjay Nirupam of the Congress congratulated Swaraj for taking up the issue in a forceful manner.

When they started their movement, we thought it was against corruption. But hearing their comments one gets the impression that they are targetting Parliament itself. They are against democracy. After all, who are these people? Their backgrounds need to be investigated," he said.

Shailendra Singh of the Samajvadi Party asked the government to take action against those who use uncivil language and call themselves a civil society. Basudeb Acharya of the Communist Party of India-Marxist condemned the use of uncivil words against the parliamentarians by Team Anna members and demanded that action be taken against them.
