An Indo-Canadian mother of three young children was found stabbed to death in her home on February 7.
Her family members found the body when they arrived at home that morning.
According to Police Corporal Dale Carr, two of the victim's three children, all under 10, were in the home at the time her body was found by the relatives.
"This morning,, family members came home and discovered the body," Carr, spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, has been quoted as saying. "She lived at the house with her husband and the extended family. We are interviewing the entire family."
"There are no suspects at this time and no-one is in custody," he said.
The name of the victim has not been released but it is stated that the body was discovered in a house in the 5800-block 125th Street, Surrey (British Columbia).
This is the third Indo-Canadian woman murdered recently in Surrey.
Navreet Wariah was stabbed to death, also in her home in Surrey on October 29. Her husband Jatinder Waraich has been charged with second-degree murder.
And a few days earlier, Manjit Panghali was killed and her body set on fire in Delta (British Columbia). No-one has as yet been charged with her murder.
