Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik told rediff.com  that Israel's recent threats to Iran over the country's plan to build nuclear arms doesn't scare Pakistan, who, some reports suggested, were moving their nuclear arms in an unsafe way, fearing Americans would take them away.

The United Nations nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Commission, has put forth a report raising serious questions about Iran's intention in building a nuclear bomb.

A few days later reports suggested that Pakistanis were moving their nukes fearing the Americans. When asked if Pakistani nukes were safe from rogue elements within Pakistan, Malik rubbished these reports.

"If Pakistan can create nuclear weapons, we can protect them too," said Malik.

Malik told rediff.com that Pakistan doesn't feel nervous about the goings-on in its neighbourhood when asked if Pakistan was nervous about Israel's threat to Pakistan's north-western neighbour Iran.
