Illinois couple Joel Burger and Ashley King couldn’t have asked for more. In April, when news got out that the couple were planning to get hitched in July, the Burger King caught wind of the story and decided to help the couple create "a whopper of a wedding" by paying for the event.

The couple, who had reached out to Burger King for permission to use the company's logo on their wedding favors, couldn’t contain their joy when the chain sprung the surprise.

Mr Burger, 24, and Miss King, 25, made international headlines earlier this year when the childhood sweethearts took a photo in front of Burger King announcing they would be tying the knot.
