Grenade blast in Assam; six injured

At least six persons were injured in a grenade explosion triggered by suspected anti-talks faction of the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) at Bongaigaon town in western Assam tonight, police said.

The militants suspected to have come in an autorickshaw to hurl the grenade in a crowded locality in the town. Police claimed to have apprehended one ULFA cadre involved in the grenade explosion.
