Flood victims in Bihar are agitating in various places against the tardy relief measures undertaken by the Rabri Devi government.

On Wednesday, a 14-year-old Dalit boy was killed in police firing on a protesting mob in Patepur block of Vaishali district.

The situation is so bad that the hungry victims demonstrate before state government officials, politicians and even visiting central teams.

The demonstrations are most rampant in the worst affected Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, Samastipur , Madhubani and Muzaffarpur districts.

Reports coming out of some flood affected districts said the protests were also against the 'arbitrary' distribution of relief materials among the victims.
