Monserratte's son Rohit, who is wanted for the alleged rape of a German teenaged girl.

The police searched for Rohit at his residence at Taleigao in Panaji, but could not find him there.

Monserratte said the police had come searching for Rohit. "They had come. I told them that I will hand him over to the

The medical examination conducted on the girl has confirmed the rape.

Superintendent of Police (North) Vasco George declined to speak on the issue, stating that say he will make his statement in the high court.

The police have to file an additional affidavit before the Goa Bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday

The court will hear the case on November 5.
