How and why Aarushi & Hemraj were murdered Vicky Nanjappa | June 26, 2008 12:17 IST Last Updated: June 27, 2008 13:50 IST The investigation into the Aarushi-Hemraj case, which is yet to paint a clear picture, has taken another twist with Krishna, a compounder at Dr Rajesh Talwar's clinic, admitting that he had a motive behind the murder. During the marathon narco analysis test at Bangalore recently, Krishna said Dr Talwar had humiliated him in front of many patients as he had goofed up during a surgery, which in turn led to severe complications. It was then that Krishna hatched a plan to kill Aarushi in order to take revenge on Dr Talwar, who he claims was very fond of his daughter. Krishna also realized that Rajkumar, Talwar's colleague Anita Durrani's domestic help, had evil intentions where Aarushi was concerned and he took advantage of this fact. On that fateful night, Krishna along with Rajkumar and a mysterious person by the name Shambu were invited over to Aarushi's residence by Hemraj for drinks. While having drinks, Krishna told those present that he had been humiliated by Dr Talwar. Once inside Aarushi's room, Rajkumar tried to force himself on her, but then she resisted. In the melee, Krishna drew out the khukri (dagger) and slit her throat. He said that the blow on her throat was so hard that her neck ripped open and she fell dead in a pool of blood. Krishna also said that surprisingly, Aarushi's room on that fateful night was not locked. He said that Dr Talwar never trusted the servants and always kept Aarushi's room locked. However, that night the room was unlocked as a result of which they were able to gain entry into the room easily, Krishna added. Soon after the double murder, Krishna along with Shambu and Rajkumar tried entering Dr Talwar's room. However, they found that the room had been locked. He, however, did not specify as to why they tried getting into Dr Talwar's room. A question mark is still being raised as to how come the Talwars did not hear anything on the fateful night. Dr Talwar had earlier said that he had had a couple of drinks and also gulped down a couple of sleeping tablets that night. Hence, he had heard no sound. She was God's gift: The CBI is yet to ascertain as to where the weapon used to commit both the murders was dumped. Although Krishna said that they flushed it down, they find that version hard to believe. Apart from locating the weapon and the mobile phones of both Aarushi and Hemraj, the CBI is yet to make headway regarding Shambu, the mystery man in this entire episode. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
