Four militants were killed in a gun-battle with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir [Images] on Friday.

The gunfight ensued when Rashtriya Rifles troops and the police launched combing operations in Saidpora area to flush out the ultras, official sources said.

The slain militants were yet to be identified, they said.
