RJD leader shot dead in Bihar

A Rashtriya Janata Dal leader, Laxmikant Yadav, was on Saturday night gunned down in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, police sources said.

Laxmikant Yadav was RJD's Bhagalpur district president. According to Bhagalpur district superintendent of the police office, unidentified criminals shot dead Laxmikant Yadav. 

He was killed by unidentified criminals, no arrest has been made in this connection,'' the police said.

After the news spread of his killing, RJD supporters protested by road blockade and demanded immediate arrest of killers.
