Parallel governments to continue: Nepal Maoist leader June 03, 2007 16:58 IST "Two regimes, two laws and two armies are still in existence in the country," Maoist youth wing leader Dilip Prajapati said, adding, "The two governments will exist till the time a new structure comes in place replacing the old one." Prajapati told a meeting in Dhulikhel near Kathmandu on Saturday that the announcement of a republic might spell an end to the existence of parallel regimes. The General Secretary of Maoist youth wing, the Young Communist League said, "Two parallel governments" exist in the country and people have been showing more belief in the Maoist system of dispensing justice than in the government authorities.
