Buddha briefs PM on Nandigram

West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Monday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] in New Delhi and briefed him about the situation in Nandigram and other developments in the state in the past few months.

Sources in the Prime Minister's Office said the meeting lasted for about 30 minutes.

Bhattacharjee, who is in New Delhi to attend the two-day meeting of the Communist Party of India-Marxist politburo, did not comment on his meeting with the prime minister.
