4 killed in Srinagar militant attack

Four domestic tourists were killed and five others wounded in a powerful explosion at Batpora on Srinagar [Images] outskirts late Thursday afternoon.

"Militants tossed a powerful hand grenade at the passing tourist bus. The grenade exploded inside causing injuries to eight persons, including three children. The injured were first taken to Soura Medical Institute," a senior police officer told rediff.com.

The bodies of the four deceased have been flown to Baroda by the Indian Air Force.

This is the second attack on domestic tourists this week.
