The visibility reduced to 700 metres at 6 am, disrupting domestic services for three hours.

Domestic flight operations were normal after 9 am, the sources said, adding that however, international services had remained unaffected.

Jet Airways flights to Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai were rescheduled due to fog, a company spokesman said. Indian also reported delays in flights to Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur.

The Weather Department said the fog was due to moisture in the air. The minimum temperature in the capital was 14 degree Celsius, one degree below normal. The night temperature also dropped slightly.
