Seven injured in grenade blast in Baramulla

At least seven persons were injured when a militant threw a grenade at the security forces in Baramulla district on Tuesday, officials said.

The incident happened at Azadgunj area of the town, which is 55 km from Srinagar [Images], around 11 am.

The forces immediately sealed the area and launched a combing operation to nab the culprits.

No militant outfit has, so far, owned responsibility for the act.
