Maharashtra SSC results out

Hrishikesh Rajesh Terdalkar topped the Mumbai division of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Exams.

He scored 95.33 per cent, while Priyanka Dhananjay Marathe topped among the girls by securing 94.53 per cent in the standard 10th exams held in March.

Hrishikesh is a student of Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Ulhasnagar while Priyanka is student of Father Agnel Multi Purpose School, in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

Mumbai division registered a passed percentage of 76.27.

In Aurangabad division, Amol Anil Sulakhe of Saraswati Bhuvan High School, Aurangabad topped the exam securing 95.46 per cent marks.

Rutuja Raju Unhale of Sanskar Vidyalaya, Beed secured first place among girls. She obtained 94.53 per cent marks while Rucha Ramkrishna Chavan of BHEL Secondary School, Parli Vaijanath stood first among backward class candidates.

Similarly, Mehraj Fatema M Jahiruddin of Mustafa Urdu Night School, Aurangabad stood first among night school students and Vaishnav Kamlesh Kachru Das of Gurudeo Samant Bhadra Vidya Mandir at Yellora in the district stood first among physically handicapped student.

While the pass percentage of girls in the division is 68.23 while those of boys is 59.16 per cent.

In Pune division, Vaibhav Vithal Gorde of Mahatma Gandhi [Images] Vidyalaya, Wada Road, Rajgurunagar topped the SSC exams by securing 96.13 per cent marks.

Sukhada Shashank Pendse of Modern High School, Pune topped among girl students with 94.80 marks.

The pass percentage in the division comprising Solapur, Pune and Ahmednagar district was 61.22 per cent.

The toppers among other categories were: Backward: Umesh Prakash Swami 94.66 percent; Disabled: Karishma Mahendra Sharma 88.26 percent and Night School: Yedba Saibu Thorat 62.40 per cent.
