Patna high court on Tuesday dismissed the writ petition of Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi challenging their prosecution in a disproportionate assets case.

The case is an offshoot of the multi-crore fodder scam.

A full Bench comprising Justice R N Prasad, Justice Barin Ghosh and Justice M L Visa unanimously dismissed the petition.

The court had completed hearing on May 18 but had reserved its order.
