3 arrested in Kislay kidnapping case

The Delhi police have arrested three people in connection with the Kislay kidnapping case, sources said on Tuesday.

Brijesh, Rajan Choudhary and Rajesh were arrested in the Saket area of South Delhi on Monday night, they said.

They have been accused of harbouring Vijay Thakur, the main accused in the kidnapping of the the Delhi Public School, Patna, student, they said.

Kislay was released by his abductors last week.

"Brijesh, an accused in several criminal cases, is based in Bihar and had come to Delhi recently," Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Praveer Ranjan told PTI.

Rajan Choudhary and Rajesh alias Chintu are based in Delhi, doing some business, he said. They operated for Thakur from the capital by arranging hideouts and other logistics.

The Bihar police have been informed and a team is arriving to take their custody, the DCP said.
