The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday decided to move the Bombay high court against the dismissal of its government in Goa [Images].

The Manohar Parrikar-led government was dismissed by Governor S C Jamir on Wednesday after it won a confidence vote amidst chaos and confusion over the disqualification of an independent member.

The BJP's top leaders have called the dismissal "unconstitutional and arbitrary."

A meeting of BJP leaders in New Delhi, presided over by party chief Lal Kishenchand Advani, also decided to take the National Democratic Alliance partners into confidence over the Goa developments.

The meeting was also attended by ousted Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar [Images].
