A first information report has been registered against bollywood actor Aditya Panscholi for allegedly assaulting his neighbour following an argument over a parking space outside the actor's residence in suburban Versova, police said in Mumbai on Monday.

The actor's neighbour Pratik Pasrani filed a complaint on Sunday night stating that the actor had punched him in the face in the premises of the apartments where the two stay, police said.

According to police, one of Panscholi's guests allegedly parked his vehicle at the space earmarked for Pasrani, as a result of which Pasrani objected and asked the security staff to have the vehicle moved away.

An altercation broke out between the actor and Pasrani over the incident, culminating in the assault, police said.
