The Civil Aviation Ministry has asked all airlines, including international carriers, to resume normal operations to Mumbai where the airport is now up and running.

Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, who had earlier advised air travellers to Mumbai to fly only in case of emergency, said his ministry has withdrawn this advisory.

"Mumbai airport is back to normal. We have asked all the airlines to operate their normal quota of flights," he said.
